Selection Process
Pharmacist-A (Post No.1472 & Lab Technician-A (Post No.1473) The selection process consists of (1) written test and (2) skill test. The written test will be conducted first and short-listing will be done based on the written test scores and required number of candidates (ratio between vacancy and number of candidates to be called for skill test) alone shall be called for skill test. Written test will be conducted in such a way that theoretical and practical knowledge of the candidate is tested covering both breadth and depth of the prescribed curriculum. The skill test will be purely on ‘go-no-go’ basis and marks obtained in the skill test will not be considered for selection. The skill test will be evaluated on a 100 point scale with minimum 60% for qualification. The final selection will be done amongst qualified candidates, purely based on the scores obtained in the written test. From amongst candidates who qualify in the skill test with 60% marks, empanelment will be done in the order of marks obtained in the written test. In case of a tie in the written scores, the academic scores of the notified qualification will be the tie-breaker. Fireman-A (Post No.1474) The prescribed Physical Fitness Standards for the post of Fireman-A is as follows .   Disqualifications Any of the following present in the candidate will be a disqualification:   a.                  Preliminary Medical Test (PMT) 1.     The following medical tests shall be performed before Stage-1 Physical Efficiency Tests a.                  Height Measurement b.                 Weight Measurement c.                  Visible Structural abnormality b.                 Stage-1 Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – for those who qualify in PMT Male Candidates – To run 1500 metres in 7 minutes for Age upto 40 years ( 8 minutes for candidates for age above 40 years) Female Candidates – To run 800 metres in 4 minutes for Age upto 40 years ( 5 minutes for candidates for age above 40 years) Candidates who get qualified in the Stage-1 Physical Efficiency Test (PET) shall only be allowed to participate in the Detailed Medical Examination c.                  Detailed Medical Examination (DME) – for those who qualify in Stage-1 PET d.                 Stage-2 PET – for those who qualify in DME   a.                  Written test – for those who qualify in Stage-2 PET The final selection shall in the order of marks scored in the written test. In case of a tie in the written scores, the academic scores of the notified qualification will be the tie-breaker. 11.   The Centre reserves the right not to fill up any of the posts, if it so decides. 12.   Only Indian Nationals need apply. 13.   No interim correspondence will be entertained. 14.   Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification. 15.   Candidates working under Central/State Government, Public Sector Undertakings, Autonomous bodies etc. should submit their application through proper channel or submit ‘No objection certificate’ at the time of written test/skill test.
